The Prince of Ravens has known nothing but privilege and power - until the day an attempt is made on his life. Now he must flee across the Empire he once helped to rule, searching for answers and running from those who would have him silenced forever. He, the Seventh Child and prophesied Lord of Death, has been Exiled, and the Empire will stop at nothing to keep him from his destiny.

This is the story of a young man, thrown into the unknown world as a traitor without a fault but for his destiny. He will learn to trust his instinct if he is to survive the might of his Mother and the Empire bent on killing him. Set in the familiar clichéd world of fantasy, a evil queen, seven children and the youngest son destined to make or break the empire. Still this author makes all this into a fresh idea with, a nice spin on the plot and well crafted characters.

RATING: 8/10
