After a blurred trauma over the summer, Melinda enters high school a selective mute. Struggling with school, friends, and family, she tells the dark tale of her experiences, and why she has chosen not to speak.
This movie describes the live of a young girl following an event so traumatic that she cannot speak. The story is told from the young girl's point of view and paints a vivid picture of her struggles with trauma and it underlying effects. She will have to rely on herself to get better while trying to ensure that a former friend does not have a similar experience. A heart-warming movie.
